File Service Policy for ECU Tuning

Last updated: May 2026

What WEREMAP Provides

WEREMAP provides digital ECU and TCU file modification services for automotive professionals. Customers read the ECU or TCU from the vehicle, upload the original file to the platform, select the required services, and receive a modified file for installation.

What WEREMAP Does Not Do

WEREMAP does not install, flash, or physically interact with any vehicle, ECU, or TCU. WEREMAP does not inspect vehicles, perform diagnostics, certify road legality, or provide mechanical advice. All physical work β€” including ECU reading, file installation, and post-installation testing β€” is performed solely by the Customer.

Customer Responsibility

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle and ECU information; ensuring the vehicle is in suitable condition before tuning; using appropriate, licensed ECU tools; performing all flashing and installation work correctly; and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Support

Support is provided via Order support tickets on the platform during Working Hours. To be valid, support requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of file delivery and must include relevant log files, fault codes, or diagnostic data.

Credits and Refunds

Credits consumed when an Order enters processing are not refundable to cash. If WEREMAP cannot fulfil an Order, Credits are returned to your account. See the full Refund Policy for details.

Emissions Services

Services involving DPF, EGR, AdBlue/SCR, OPF, or catalytic converter removal are provided strictly for off-road use, motorsport, export to jurisdictions where legal, or vehicle testing purposes. The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the law in the jurisdiction where the vehicle is operated.
